After a 3 hour ferry ride into Wellington we travelled to Carterton 140km (87 miles) then a further 160 km (99 miles) into Dannevirke. A total distance of 3309 km (2052 miles).
Next Saturday we will be at Steven Walkleys and me and Jo are looking forward to it.

Hi Chris & Jo
It's you dads cousin Karen here, I was out with your mum and dad last night, they came over to Rochdale and took uncle Ronnie & Aunty Mona (my mum and dad) and my self out for a meal, we had a lovely time and a great meal.
There was a lot of 'down memory lane' talk, talking about relatives and family, we all went back to my mum and dads and dad got the old photo's out and there was one of your dads dad, my dad and 2 of their brothers Eric and Arthur, so your dad is going to copy it.
It's 8 years since I saw your mum and dad, that was at my mum and dads Golden Wedding Anniv!
So you are at Stephen & Susans now, you will have a great time there, they have a lovely house, whilst in Auckland you must go for a meal in the Sky Tower and visit Devonport - you go over by ferry, it's a fab place.
Get Stephen to take you to the beach he took us on new years day, it was lovely.
Also get him to show you the pics of Trev and myself fishing on New Years Eve.
You will have a great time in Auckland, we did when we had 3 weeks at Xmas and New year.
Say a big hi to Ste, Sue and Theresa.
