27/07 We left Peel forest and headed up Mount Cook. We went on a 2 hour trek to Kea point. Being winter no Kea but good views . We camped at Mt Cook salmon farm. We went on a tour fed the fish and bought a couple fillets which I cooked on the barbie. We also picked up some Wasabi sauce and had sushi while the barbie was on the go. The best fish iv ever had. We had a great sunset and got pissed. ( well i got pissed Jo just kinda watched me.haha) We travelled 186km total so that makes 524km in 3 days with lots of stops at cafes and views. Its a nice pace. We decide where we are going to end up and kinda make our own way there and also rely on local knowledge.
